WHERE DID SWING KITCHEN GET ITS NAME?
Our restaurant is inspired by the swing era – an era that Irene and Charly love. That’s why we play swing music in our restaurants and use elements from that era in the design. With our play on words “Swing to vegan” we want to make it clear that everyone – including non-vegan guests – can easily and simply switch to vegan fast food alternatives.
CAN I ORDER FOOD IN ADVANCE?
Unfortunately, ordering in advance is not possible for logistical reasons – this way we can always guarantee the freshness and best possible quality of the products. That said, we do prepare our food very quickly!
MY ORDER WAS NOT COMPLETE, WHAT CAN I DO?
First of all, we are very sorry – this should not happen under any circumstances. Bike couriers are instructed to check the order together with our staff using the four-eyes principle, which should rule out such mistakes. Errors in delivery orders and requests for compensation should be addressed directly to the delivery service provider (Foodora, Lieferando, Wolt,…), stating the order number. Feel free to write us an additional e-mail so that we can apologise personally!
MY ORDER WAS NOT DELIVERED, WHAT CAN I DO?
This is very annoying and we are really sorry. IS IT POSSIBLE TO RESERVE A TABLE?
Unfortunately, you can’t reserve a table with us, as we see ourselves as a quick-service system gastronomy concept. However, this means that places will always become available quickly – just come by!
WHAT ARE YOUR OPENING HOURS? ARE YOU ALSO OPEN ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS?
Generally, our restaurants are also open on public holidays. However, you can find the current opening hours in our restaurant finder, on Google or on our social media channels.
CAN I CONTACT A RESTAURANT BY PHONE?
Since all our employees work operationally, our restaurants cannot be reached by phone. Please send us a message via the contact form and we will be happy to help you!

HOW DOES ORDERING AT THE SWING KITCHEN WORK?
First time? We’ll be happy to explain how it works on site!
You are free to choose your seat in our restaurants. Order your food, choose a table and your combo should be ready to pick up! The screens in the restaurant will inform you of your choices and pick-up number. When you’re done, we’d be happy if you put your tray in one of the trolleys so that our staff can take care of its environmentally-friendly disposal. Enjoy your meal!
WHERE CAN I BUY VOUCHERS?
Vouchers can be bought at the cash desk in all restaurants. If this is not possible for you, please send us a message and we will find a solution!
CAN I BUY THE ENAMEL CUP?
Yes, the Swing Kitchen enamel cups are available for purchase at all restaurants.
WHAT IS A COMBO AND WHAT BURGER/WRAPS/SIDES/DRINKS CAN I CHOOSE FOR IT?
A combo consists of your choice of burger or wrap, fries (you can also choose Sweet # Fries, Coleslaw or Garden Salad for an additional charge) and an enamel mug to sample your way through our chilled drinks at the free refill station.
WHY CAN’T YOU CHOOSE OTHER ITEMS ON THE MENU (E.G. NUGGETS, ONION RINGS)?
Unfortunately, a combo with Nuggets or Onion Rings is not possible for operational reasons. Believe us – we wish it were…
WHICH DISHES ARE GLUTEN-FREE?
The following products are prepared with basically gluten-free ingredients – however, due to the preparation in our kitchen, where products containing wheat are also processed, we cannot rule out cross-contamination with gluten:

ARE NUTS PROCESSED IN THE PATTIES/DIPS/SWEETS?
Our patties and dips are free of nuts. Some of our sweets contain nuts – for example the Almond Nougat Dream, the Raspberry Chocolate Mousse Cake and the Apricot Yoghurt Cake. In general, traces and cross-contamination are unfortunately difficult to avoid.
WHY DO YOU USE REFILLS? HOW DOES IT WORK?
At the free refill station, you can refill your enamel cup as often as you like during your visit. We have chosen to use post-mix drinks as this results in a 90% smaller environmental footprint compared to bottled drinks. Postmix means that the juice concentrate is injected with tap water at the free refill station.
DOES THE TIRAMISU CONTAIN ALCOHOL?
The orange paste in our Tiramisu contains small amounts of ethyl alcohol as an ingredient. The Tiramisu therefore contains a total of 0.0035% vol alcohol by volume. By way of comparison, ripe bananas contain up to 1% vol alcohol and fruit juices contain up to 0.3% vol alcohol. The Tiramisu is therefore considered alcohol-free.
WHERE DOES THE COFFEE COME FROM?
Our coffee comes from the company “Brigantes”, who run a great ecological and social project whereby goods are transported to Europe by sailing boats. On the one hand, this reduces our ecological footprint, on the other hand, it ensures that their trade is fair, as Brigantes keeps the entire supply chain in-house. Our specials change every few months. We try to be as innovative as possible, which is why we regularly offer different novelties.

WHAT IS THE PACKAGING MADE OF?
Our packaging is made from renewable raw materials or recycled materials, is 100% biodegradable, 100% GMO-free and is CO2-neutral when disposed of. Our dip containers may look like plastic, but they are made from biodegradable polylactic acid (PLA), which is derived from plant starch (e.g. manioc).
The rest of the packaging is made of recycled paper or at least FSC-certified pulp (where recycled fibres are not allowed).
HOW DO I DISPOSE OF PACKAGING PROPERLY?
The recyclable materials we generate are separated and recycled according to regional regulations and disposal options. As a rule, the following types of waste are separated and disposed of as follows:

❖ Plastic packaging/hollow bodies (PET, PP, PE-HD,…)
❖ Plastic films (PE-LD,…)
